Mochida Pharmaceutical Group formulated a Basic Sustainability Policy to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society through its efforts to provide value as a pharmaceutical company. We have established sustainability activities throughout the organization and set up a "Sustainability Committee," chaired by the Director in charge of Planning and Administration, as an advisory body to the Representative Director, based on the following basic policy, to promote sustainability activities across the Group. Specifically, the committee identifies materiality (material issues) and promotes various measures on sustainability issues in cooperation with each department and committee.

For enhancing the value of corporate sustainability, we will strive to provide value as a pharmaceutical company "contributing to human health and well-being" under appropriate corporate governance in accordance with the Code of Conduct of Mochida Pharmaceutical Group. We will also contribute to realize a sustainable society while making efforts to lessen our impact on the global environment.
