Licensing & Business Development

As part of Mochida's strategy for growth, our Licensing & Business Development division are actively seeking, evaluating, and in-licensing product candidates to add to the company's product lineup. This division is also assigned the task of introducing license-available products and technologies originating from our own research to potential partners.

If your company is seeking to place its products in the important Japanese market, we would like to hear from you. Mochida has an excellent track record in negotiating with the Japanese regulatory authorities, designing effective clinical trials, and speedily gaining approval for new drugs. In addition, we have manufacturing facilities, distribution channels, and a well-trained, highly motivated sales force covering all regions of the country. To further support our promotional activities, we sponsor academic symposia in our fields of interest, to maintain a positive awareness of Mochida among key doctors. Mochida has extended its reach into this territory by collaborations built over many years with domestic companies, and foreign companies with a presence in Japan. In recognition of these strengths, Mochida continues to be selected as the vehicle by which overseas companies can achieve their strategic objectives in Japan.
